The Rickshaw House Gallery was founded in 2009 to exhibit artists from across Europe. Internationally acclaimed for its exhibitions of modern and contemporary art, the Gallery has premiered many international artists.

The Gallery plays a unique role in the capital’s cultural landscape and is pivotal to the continued growth of central London's Southbank as the world’s most vibrant contemporary art quarter.

The Rickshaw House Gallery is set in the arches of the old Blackfiar's Road railway station on the south side of the River Thames. The building dates back to the 1864 and still retains the character and many of its original features from the period. The Gallery is easily accessible being situated opposite Southwark Underground Station (see how to get to us).
